Human remains found in Hickman, investigation underway

HICKMAN, Ky., (KBSI) — Authorities are investigating after human remains were discovered Sunday within the city limits of Hickman, police said.

The Hickman Police Department said the Fulton County Coroner’s Office confirmed the remains were human. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office also assisted at the scene to ensure a thorough investigation.

Officials said forensic experts will examine the remains to identify the individual and determine the circumstances of the death.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Hickman Police Department or their local law enforcement agency.
