JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — The City of Jackson is reminding residents that seasonal clean-up at Russell Heights and City Cemeteries will begin the first week of October.

City officials said all decorations and floral arrangements will be removed and disposed of as part of routine maintenance. Families wishing to keep items currently placed at gravesites should remove them by Sunday, Oct. 5.

The city conducts cemetery clean-ups twice a year, during the first weeks of March and October, to keep the grounds well-maintained and respectful for visitors.
