(KBSI)Route J in Stoddard County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs.

This section of roadway is located from North Prairie to Tower Drive near Bloomfield, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

An earth stabilization project has resumed on U.S. 51 in Ballard County this week.

A lane restriction is in place near mile point 2.8, south of Wickliffe, with alternating flow controlled by a temporary traffic signal. The lane closure will remain in effect 24 hours a day.

Work is expected to continue through approximately Monday, Sept. 22, weather permitting.
