Farm to Table draws hundreds as Old Town Cape celebrates T-Mobile Hometown Grant award

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Downtown Cape Girardeau came alive as hundreds of people attended the Revivify: Farm to Table event, an evening that blended community spirit with locally sourced cuisine.

Guests enjoyed live music, a floral banquet bar and a four-course dinner prepared by chefs Gabriele Ruggieri, Doc Cain and DeWayne Schaaf, who showcased ingredients provided primarily by Riverfront Farmers Market vendors.

In addition to the dinner, organizers shared a surprise announcement: Old Town Cape has been selected as a recipient of the T-Mobile Hometown Grant.

“We’re honored to receive this amazing grant,” organizers said. “Stay tuned to see how we put it to work in strengthening our community.”

Funds raised from the event will support Old Town Cape’s community programs and initiatives.
