Perryville police seek suspect in early morning armed robbery

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Police are investigating an armed robbery early Wednesday at a convenience store in Perryville.
Officers were called about 5:45 a.m. to QuickStop, 1236 W. St. Joseph, after a man entered the store, threatened an attendant with a knife and stole a bank bag from under the counter, according to the Perryville Police Department.
Surveillance video shows the suspect is a white male, about 6 to 6-foot-3, wearing a long-sleeved off-white shirt, blue jeans with a green nylon belt, gloves and a T-shirt wrapped around his head. He fled in a black sedan, possibly a Nissan, toward Missouri 51.

The investigation is ongoing.
