Threat prompts lockdown at Lyon County Schools

EDDYVILLE, Ky., (KBSI) — The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that Lyon County Schools were placed on lockdown after a threat was received.

Authorities emphasized that no students or staff were harmed. The lockdown was enacted out of an abundance of caution while law enforcement and first responders secure the campus.

Officials are asking parents and guardians to stay away from the school until the scene is fully cleared.
