Cape Girardeau police to host Neighborhood Roll Call Oct. 1

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Police Department will hold a Neighborhood Roll Call at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Safe House Outreach Office, 2350 Independence.

The event coincides with Domestic Violence Awareness Month and is intended to promote safety, awareness and community connection. Police officials said it will also provide residents an opportunity to meet officers, observe the evening roll call and connect with neighbors in an informal setting.

The roll call is being hosted in partnership with the Safe House for Women.
