Murray man arrested on DUI, drug trafficking charges

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Murray man was arrested Sunday afternoon after police found him passed out in a vehicle and in possession of methamphetamine, authorities said.
Murray Police officers responded to the call at about 1:39 p.m. and were able to wake the driver, identified as Aaron Hayman, 33. During the investigation, officers determined he had been operating the vehicle under the influence of controlled substances.
Police said methamphetamine was also located in his possession. Hayman was charged with first-degree operating a motor vehicle under the influence of controlled substances and trafficking in methamphetamine.
He was lodged in the Calloway County Jail. Police noted that anyone charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
