Scott County deputies arrest Blodgett man wanted for kidnapping

BENTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Scott County deputies have arrested a Blodgett man wanted on kidnapping and domestic assault charges.

The Sheriff’s Office said deputies and investigators located Hayden Carter on Tuesday afternoon and took him into custody without incident.

Carter faces felony charges of second-degree kidnapping and third-degree domestic assault. Both offenses were reported Sept. 30 and are being handled in Associate Circuit Division 5 under Judge Oesch, according to court records.

Sheriff Derick Wheetley said the arrest was made following coordinated efforts by the patrol and investigations divisions.

In-custody individuals can be viewed through the county’s Jail Tracker system.
