New mural adds color and charm to Uptown Jackson

JACKSON, Mo., (KBSI) — A new mural celebrating Uptown Jackson’s vibrant community spirit is now complete, adding a fresh burst of color and creativity to the city’s historic district.

City officials and community leaders say the project is part of ongoing efforts to beautify Uptown and highlight the area’s local shops, restaurants, and gathering spaces.

“It’s been amazing to watch the progress from start to finish,” city representatives said in a statement. “The mural turned out beautifully and truly captures the heart of Uptown — a place for friends, neighbors, and visitors to come together.”

Residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by, take photos, and share their pictures online to help promote Uptown businesses.

“While you’re out enjoying the mural, we hope you’ll also shop, dine, and explore,” the city added. “Our local businesses are the heart of this community.”
