Perry County Clerk’s Office, commission moving to historic courthouse
FOX23 News at 9 p.m.
PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perry County Clerk’s Office and the Perry County Commission will relocate to the Historic Perry County Courthouse at 15 W. St. Marie St., Suite 2, in Perryville, effective Oct. 20, 2025, county officials announced.
Both offices, along with the Commission Chambers, will occupy the courthouse’s first floor. The move marks a return to the historic center of Perry County government and reflects the county’s ongoing effort to improve accessibility and operational efficiency for residents.
The Perry County Commission will continue holding its regular meetings at the new location — Mondays at 9 a.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m., except on county holidays or otherwise posted changes.
“This move allows us to better utilize county-owned facilities while maintaining easy public access to both the Clerk’s Office and Commission meetings,” the commission said in a statement. “It also provides larger spaces for public meetings and ensures the courthouse remains a vital part of our downtown.”
Residents are encouraged to note the new address for correspondence and in-person visits:
