SIKESTON, Mo., (KBSI) — Project Connect is gearing up for its next community event, continuing its mission to bring local resources and support services together in one place for individuals and families in need.

Last year’s event drew more than 250 attendees, 30 volunteers, and over 20 community service providers, connecting residents with critical assistance and information.

First United Methodist Church Sikeston say they hope to expand the program’s reach this year and are inviting additional organizations to participate as service providers.

“Our mission remains the same — to connect individuals and families with the resources they need, all in one place, on one day,” organizers said in a statement.

Organizations interested in joining Project Connect as service providers can register online at Service Provider Form.

Project Connect encourages the community to get involved and help make a difference.
