Paducah proclaims Nov. 2–8 as National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week

PADUCAH, Ky., (KBSI) — During Tuesday night’s Paducah City Commission meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Wilson, on behalf of Mayor George Bray, presented a proclamation to Executive Director Traci Phelps and David Boggs of the McCracken County Humane Society, recognizing Nov. 2–8 as National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week in Paducah.

The proclamation encourages residents to support, volunteer, and express gratitude for the life-saving work performed by the McCracken County Humane Society and other local animal shelters.
