McCracken County deputies seek information on vehicle linked to I-24 collision

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the driver of a vehicle believed to be connected to a collision that occurred on Interstate 24 westbound near the 12-mile marker around 8 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Investigators have identified a white Ford Taurus, model year 2010 to 2019, that was indirectly involved in the crash. Deputies are seeking to speak with the vehicle’s operator to gather additional details about the incident.

The vehicle is described as having chrome or alloy wheels and a black spot or paint damage on the rear trunk hatch near the driver’s side. Photos of the vehicle, including the noted damage and a stock image of a similar model, have been released by the sheriff’s office.
