Two arrested in major Williamson County drug conspiracy investigation

MARION, Ill. (KBSI) — Following an ongoing narcotics investigation, deputies with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two individuals on multiple felony drug charges.

Traveon I. Loving was taken into custody and charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance (720 ILCS 570/405) – Class X Felony
  • Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance (720 ILCS 570/401) – Two Counts, Class 1 Felonies
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (720 ILCS 570/402) – Class 4 Felony

Karalyn M. Cline was arrested and charged with:

  • Conspiracy to Deliver a Controlled Substance (720 ILCS 570/405) – Class X Felony
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance (720 ILCS 570/402) – Class 4 Felony

Both Loving and Cline were transported to the Williamson County Jail, where they were remanded into custody pending court proceedings.

Sheriff Jeff Diederich commended deputies and investigators involved in the case, stating,

“This operation is another clear example of our commitment to aggressively combat illegal narcotics in Williamson County. Drug activity brings with it a host of related crimes that erode the safety of our neighborhoods. My office remains steadfast in ensuring that those who profit from poisoning our communities are held accountable.”
