Murray police, FBI investigate traveling veterinarian accused of sexual assault

MURRAY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Murray Police Department is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in an ongoing investigation involving Gregory Ford, a traveling veterinarian recently arrested in Florida for the sexual assault of a juvenile.
During the FBI’s investigation, agents identified an additional victim in Murray. A separate investigation by Murray police determined that Ford sexually assaulted a juvenile in Murray in 2024.
An arrest warrant was issued for Ford on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy. Ford remains in custody in Florida, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking his extradition to face charges in Kentucky court.
Investigators said Ford traveled through the Murray area multiple times in 2024 and believe there may be additional, unidentified victims.
