Marion police arrest suspect after overnight neighborhood thefts

MARION, Ill., (KBSI) — The Marion Police Department has taken a suspect into custody after reports of door handles being checked and thefts occurring overnight in several neighborhoods.

Police said the incidents happened between 10 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday. Residents who have surveillance footage or believe they were victimized during that time are asked to contact the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124.
