Adult arrested, juvenile detained after shooting damages Cape Girardeau home

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Police responded to a disturbance in the 1200 block of Cousin at about 4 p.m. Monday, leading to the arrest of one adult and the detention of a juvenile.

According to authorities, officers took the adult into custody at the scene and detained the juvenile pending formal charges. Investigators said no one was injured during the incident, and the residence involved sustained only minor damage.

The investigation remains ongoing.
