(KBSI) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning daytime lane restrictions on Interstate 24 near Exit 65 in Cadiz starting Monday, Dec. 1.
Crews will start concrete patching along I-24 westbound between mile points 68.5 and 66.5.
Motorists should watch for signage and expect one-lane traffic the work zone.
This phase is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Additional locations for concrete rehab work include I-24 westbound between mile points 65.6 and 65.1, or between the WB off-ramp and WB on-ramp at U.S. 68/KY 80, and on I-24 eastbound between the 66- and 67-mile markers. These locations will immediately follow the first phase and last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
Please use caution where workers and equipment are near traffic flow.
Route AD in Stoddard County will be reduced as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform shoulder work.
This section of roadway is located from Route 60 to County Road 442 near Dexter, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Nov. 24 through Tuesday, Nov. 26 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
