BELL CITY, Mo., (KBSI) – The Bell City Fire Department recently welcomed students from Bell City R-II Schools for a station visit focused on fire safety and emergency preparedness.

During the visit, students learned about fire prevention, explored firefighting equipment and received demonstrations on the various types of emergencies the department responds to. Fire officials said the event was both educational and engaging for the children.

Each student left with a fire helmet and a goodie bag containing fire-safety materials to share with their families.

The department thanked Bell City R-II Schools for organizing the visit and helping support its mission to keep the community informed and safe. Officials said they look forward to future opportunities to connect with local students.
