Smoke seen for miles as St. Louis firefighters fight massive warehouse blaze

ST.LOUIS, Mo.(KBSI) – St. Louis firefighters are battling a massive blaze after multiple warehouses caught fire early Friday morning.

According to the St. Louis Fire Chief Dennis Jenkerson they received a heavy fire call around 3:00 am on Friday November 28, 2025.

Sources say the fire quickly spread to a sixth alarm fire and now multiple fire departments from across the city are on scene.

The fire started in a warehouse south of downtown St. Louis and quickly spread.

Electric has been shutoff and train routes have been stopped in some areas for safety.

Residents say the smoke can be for miles.

Heavy smoke is also seen throughout the city.

No report of injury has been reported at this time.
