U.S. 62 reopens after train derailment near Campbell

CAMPBELL, Mo., (KBSI) — A train derailed Monday on U.S. 62 West, about three miles west of Campbell, according to authorities.
Officials initially asked motorists to avoid the area due to heavy congestion and emergency response activity. Crews have since cleared the scene, and the roadway has reopened to traffic.
Authorities continue to urge drivers to use caution in the area as operations wrap up.
