U.S. Marshals search for Missouri man wanted on multiple sex offense charges

KANSAS CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — The U.S. Marshals Service is searching for Steven Andrew Bowman, who is wanted on multiple felony charges involving sexual offenses against minors.

According to the Marshals Service, Bowman is wanted for first-degree sodomy, seven counts of possession of child pornography, three additional counts of possession of child pornography and statutory rape. The charges were issued by several law enforcement agencies, including the Bates County Sheriff’s Office, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office and the Clinton Police Department.

Bowman is described as a white male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 250 pounds. A photo taken July 1, 2023, shows his most recent confirmed appearance, though officials say he may now have longer hair or a full beard.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a cash reward for information leading to Bowman’s arrest.
