SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, (KBSI) — At least three Hardee’s restaurants in southern Illinois have abruptly and permanently closed.

Hardees has marked its Centralia and Benton locations as closed on its website. The company has additionally removed its Marion location from the site, and that restaurant has also shut down.

The closures come amid reports of dozens of Hardee’s restaurants closing nationwide this week.

Locations in Herrin, Murphysboro, Harrisburg, Eldorado and Mount Vernon currently remain open.

Several other southern Illinois Hardee’s locations — including West Frankfort, Du Quoin and Carterville — have closed over the past two years.
