(KBSI) Route 19 in Shannon County will be reduced to one lane with an 8-foot 6-inch width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews replace several culverts under the roadway.

This section of roadway is located from Route D to Riverview Drive near Eminence, Missouri.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Dec. 15 through Friday, Dec. 19 from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

In preparation for next summer’s sidewalk construction on the west side of Cape Rock Drive between Kingshighway and Perryville, the City of Cape will be doing some tree work within the road right-of-way. 

The contractor will be working with two crews along Cape Rock Drive from this Wednesday, December 10 through this Friday, December 12.

Drivers will need to watch for Tree Work Ahead signs, cones and workers directing traffic during temporary lane closures.
