Hickman man arrested after search warrant turns up drugs, cash and firearms

HICKMAN, Ky., (KBSI) — A joint investigation by the Hickman Police Department and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office led to the execution of a search warrant Thursday at a residence on Myron Cory Drive, resulting in the arrest of a Hickman man.
Deputies said Clarence Wilson, 53, was present when officers searched the home on Dec. 4. During the operation, investigators seized about 56.4 grams of crack cocaine, 4.6 ounces of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and roughly $16,000 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. A handgun was found near the narcotics, and additional long guns were also recovered.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Hickman County and Carlisle County sheriff’s offices.
Wilson was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, first offense (firearm enhanced); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (4 grams or more of cocaine) (firearm enhanced); and possession of drug paraphernalia (firearm enhanced).
