Bell City Fire and Rescue extricate driver in early-morning crash

BELL CITY, Mo., (KBSI) — Firefighters with Bell City Fire and Rescue responded early Thursday to a motor vehicle crash involving entrapment, officials said.
The department was dispatched at about 7:16 a.m. to a crash in the county. Fire personnel responded with Rescue Engine 3, and upon arrival, fire and EMS crews immediately began rescue operations. The entrapped patient was extricated in less than two minutes, according to the department.
Following the extrication, fire and EMS personnel worked together to provide medical care to the injured patient.
Bell City Fire and Rescue thanked assisting agencies, including the Stoddard County Ambulance District, Stoddard County Sheriff’s Office, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol, for their coordinated response.
Officials said the incident highlighted the strong collaboration among local public safety agencies and their shared commitment to training and community service.
