Bernie police report two arrests on municipal charges

BERNIE, Mo., (KBSI) — Bernie police reported two arrests on separate charges in December, according to a department release.

On Dec. 18, 2025, officers with the Bernie Police Department arrested Keno Jones of Bernie on a municipal warrant for failure to appear related to an original charge of driving while revoked or suspended. Bond was set at $162, cash only. Jones was booked into the Bernie Jail and later posted bond.

On Dec. 24, 2025, police arrested Kelton Dial of Bernie on two counts of nuisance involving abandoned vehicles. Bond was set at $264, cash only. Dial was booked into the Bernie Jail and later posted bond.

The information was released by Rick Cook, chief of police.
