Traffic advisory issued for U.S. 45 South near Mayfield

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — The Graves County Sheriff’s Office issued a traffic advisory Tuesday morning for an area south of Mayfield.

Officials said motorists should use caution near U.S. 45 South by the landfill, about two miles south of Mayfield between Mayfield and Pryorsburg, where a private company is cleaning up a small roadway spill.

The advisory was issued at about 10:05 a.m. Dec. 30, 2025.

The sheriff’s office and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet are assisting with traffic control and expect the cleanup to take one to two hours.
