Cape Girardeau police seek help identifying individual in updated photo

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Girardeau Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying an individual shown in a newly released, clearer photo.

Police said the updated image was provided after tips from individuals with photo-editing expertise helped enhance visibility. Officials said social media continues to be a valuable tool in identifying persons of interest.

Anyone who recognizes the individual is asked to contact Cpl. Couch at 573-335-6621, ext. 1243, or by email at rcouch@cityofcape.org. Anonymous tips are also accepted by texting “CAPEPD” to 847411 or calling 573-339-6313.

Police said all tips are appreciated and can help keep the community safe.
