Two arrested in Mayfield on fraud and theft-related charges

MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — Mayfield Police Department officers made two arrests on Jan. 7 following separate incidents, according to the department.

Officers conducted a traffic stop involving Kajen Lanning, 36, of Mayfield, and discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest. Lanning was taken into custody and charged on a complaint warrant with fraudulent use of a credit card under $10,000.

In a separate incident, officers arrested Donna Stonecipher, 35, of Mayfield. Stonecipher is charged on a complaint warrant with theft by unlawful taking under $500, damage to an animal in an animal facility, and failure to obtain an occupational license under a city ordinance.
