East Prairie filmmaker to premiere short comedy at Cape Girardeau Theater

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — East Prairie filmmaker Lawson Thresher will premiere his second short film, The Not-So-Great Outdoorsmen, on Jan. 31 at the Marcus Cape West Cinema.
The red-carpet premiere features a short comedy about two campers whose weekend trip takes an unexpected turn after encountering Bigfoot.
The film stars Byron Cherry and Tony Lawson as the campers. Tim Guraedy portrays a Bigfoot expert, with Michael Murray appearing as the landlord. The film also includes a voice cameo by Scott Innes.
