Crews respond to garage fire on Division Street in West City

WEST CITY, Ill., (KBSI) — Multiple fire departments are responding to a structure fire on Division Street in West City, where a large, attached garage at a residence is burning.

Authorities report no injuries at this time. A box alarm has been requested, bringing additional agencies to the scene to assist with firefighting efforts.

Several roads in the area have been closed as crews work to contain the fire. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes until further notice.
