Three injured in two-vehicle crash at Graves County intersection

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) – Three people were transported to area hospitals following a two-vehicle injury collision Wednesday afternoon in Graves County.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 2:09 p.m. Jan. 21, 2026, to the intersection of Kentucky 1684 and Kentucky 849.

Investigators determined that Sherry L. Menser, 74, of Princeton, was driving a 2022 Subaru Outback southbound on Kentucky 1684. After stopping at a posted stop sign, she proceeded into the intersection, where her vehicle collided with a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country minivan driven by Megan M. Skipper, 34, of Boaz, who was traveling eastbound on Kentucky 849.

Menser and her passenger, James Menser, 79, also of Princeton, were transported to Baptist Health Paducah by Mayfield/Graves County EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. Skipper was transported to Mercy Health–Lourdes Hospital by private vehicle.

The collision was investigated by Deputy Chad Hall, with assistance from Mayfield/Graves County EMS, the Mayfield Fire Department and the Symsonia Fire Department.
