Multiple fire departments battle house fire in Buckner

BUCKNER, Ill., (KBSI) — Fire crews are responding to a house fire in the 200 block of South Second Street in the Village of Buckner.
Officials said multiple fire departments have been called to assist, and crews are actively working to extinguish the fire. Fire officials reported the blaze started in an area of the home containing multiple bedrooms.
No injuries have been confirmed at this time. Authorities are advising the public to avoid the area while emergency crews remain on scene.
