Sleet creates dangerous road conditions across Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — Marshall County Sheriff’s Office warned that road conditions across the county were extremely hazardous Sunday morning following additional sleet overnight.

Officials said the video released by the sheriff’s office shows dangerous conditions in many areas. Road crews are continuing snow and ice removal efforts, but authorities strongly discouraged travel unless it is an emergency.

Residents are asked to stay off roadways to allow crews to work safely, officials said.

“Your patience and cooperation help keep everyone safe,” Sheriff Matt Hilbrecht said.
