Carbondale police officers spend snow day with SIU students

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — Officers with the City of Carbondale Police Department spent part of a snow day interacting with students from Southern Illinois University, officials said.

Police officers Rachel Evrard and Max Cohen were seen outdoors with students amid snowy conditions, sharing laughs and taking part in winter activities.

The department encouraged residents to stay safe and make the most of the winter weather.
