Perryville girls basketball to honor 1986 state championship team

PERRYVILLE, Mo., (KBSI) — The Perryville High School Lady Pirates will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the program’s 1986 state championship team on Thursday, Feb. 12.

Members of the 1986 championship team will be recognized following the Perryville High School girl’s junior varsity game against St. Vincent, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., at the Perry County Middle School gymnasium.

The Lady Pirates varsity team will play Valle Catholic after the recognition ceremony.

Alumni, students, families and fans are invited to attend the event to honor the legacy and accomplishments of the 1986 state championship team.
