Cape Area Community Foundation accepting applications for 2026 Grant Cycle

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — The Cape Area Community Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026 grant cycle through March 2.

Nonprofit organizations may apply for grants of up to $2,000. A total of $5,000 is available to support programs and organizations serving Bollinger, Cape Girardeau and northern Scott counties.

Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) or similar tax-exempt status, including schools, faith-based organizations and governmental entities.

Applications are available online at cfozarks.org/find-grants under the Cape Area Affiliate Grantmaking Program Tab. Applications and required supporting documents must be submitted by March 2.

Founded in 2015, the Cape Area Community Foundation works to enhance quality of life in the region through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration and public leadership. The foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, which serves 55 regional affiliate foundations across central and southern Missouri.
