Du Quoin State Fairgrounds to host free Star Party Feb. 24

DU QUOIN, Ill., (KBSI) — A free, family-friendly Star Party will be held Tuesday, Feb. 24, at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds.

The event is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Gate 4 Shelter. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in guided telescope observations and astronomy-related activities.

The event is open to the public at no cost.
