Suspect in custody after shots fired during disturbance in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) – Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 0-100 block of South Henderson Street at about 8:50 p.m. on Feb. 23, according to authorities.

Police said the victim reported an altercation during which the suspect fired shots at them. The victim was not struck.

Officers observed evidence that shots had been fired and noted damage to a nearby residence.

The suspect was taken into custody pending formal charges.
