PERRYVILLE, Mo. (KBSI) — St. Vincent Catholic Schools announced that four St. Vincent High School students participated in the SEMO Honors Band at Southeast Missouri State University.

Students Lily, Carter, Austin and Tristin represented the school during the event, which included sight-reading sessions, rehearsals and an evening performance in Bedell Hall.

The students rehearsed under the direction of guest clinicians Randell Bertsche and James David and also participated in instrument-specific masterclasses led by Southeast Missouri State University applied music faculty members.

School officials said the experience provided students with opportunities to develop their musical skills and perform alongside other honors band participants from the region.
