CALLOWAY COUNTY, Ky., (KBSI) — A Tennessee man was arrested Saturday night on a warrant related to a 2022 pursuit that crossed state lines, according to the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Michael McBee, 47, of Buchanan, Tennessee, around 10 p.m. March 1 on a Calloway County warrant stemming from an August 2022 incident.
Authorities said deputies were attempting to locate McBee at the time in connection with outstanding arrest warrants from Henry County, Tennessee. McBee allegedly fled in a vehicle, leading deputies on a pursuit that crossed into another state and continued onto a gravel roadway.
Deputies terminated the pursuit due to unsafe driving conditions.
A warrant was later issued for his arrest.
McBee is charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police in a motor vehicle, reckless driving and various traffic violations. He is lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
