Fredericktown teen killed in single-vehicle crash in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) — An 18-year-old man from Fredericktown was killed early March 3 in a single-vehicle crash north of Fredericktown, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around midnight on Missouri Route OO, approximately a half-mile north of Fredericktown in Madison County. Trooper B.M. Breedlove investigated the crash.
Authorities said the driver was traveling southbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene.
The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. at the scene by Madison County Coroner Collin Follis. His body was transported to the Madison County Morgue.
The crash marks Troop E’s sixth fatality of 2026.
