FORREST CITY, Ark., (KBSI) — Country music artist Jason Aldean will headline a benefit concert April 18 at the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center to raise funds for three regional food banks.
The event is presented in partnership with Greenway Equipment. All proceeds will support the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas, the Southeast Missouri Food Bank and the Arkansas Food Bank.
Tickets go on sale March 11 at 10 a.m. through the UA-EACC Fine Arts Center Box Office. Standard lower-section seats are priced at $500, and upper-section seats are $350.
An optional pre-party, presented by Greenway Equipment and Anheuser-Busch, will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. across from the concert venue. Pre-party access is available as a $50 add-on and will include refreshments, live music and food available for purchase.
A limited number of enhanced-experience tickets will be auctioned online through the Arkansas Food Bank beginning March 9 at 10 a.m., with bidding ending March 11 at 10 a.m. The all-access level includes 20 tickets, sold as pairs, featuring first- and second-row seating, a backstage meet-and-greet with a photo opportunity and a custom hat.
A premium level includes 34 tickets, also sold as pairs, with seating in rows three through five, a custom hat and pre-party access.
An on-site raffle will also be available to ticket holders for special-edition Aldean memorabilia and merchandise from John Deere and Greenway Equipment. Raffle entries are $25 for one entry or $100 for five entries. Participants must be 18 or older, present at the time of the drawing and hold a valid concert ticket. Winners will be notified during the concert, and prizes must be claimed that night.
Organizers cited recent U.S. Department of Agriculture data showing Arkansas ranks first in the nation for food insecurity, with nearly one in five households experiencing food access challenges from 2022 through 2024.
Officials said the fair market value of goods and services provided in exchange for ticket purchases is estimated at $50 and encouraged donors to consult a tax professional regarding deductions.
