Carbondale water office to close Wednesday afternoon for training

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — The City of Carbondale Water Office will close from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, for department-wide training, city officials announced.

In-person payments and other services will not be available during that time.

Residents may continue to make payments online through the city’s official website or by using the secure drop box located at Carbondale City Hall, 200 S. Illinois Ave., which is accessible at all hours.

The Water Office will reopen Thursday, March 5, and resume regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at City Hall.
