Perryville students earn top honors at SEMO Regional Science Fair

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., (KBSI) — Four Perryville High School students earned top honors at the SEMO Regional Science Fair held in Cape Girardeau at the Show Me Center.
Chia Tiampong placed second in her division and will advance to the inaugural Show Me State Science Fair in April.
Ashli Berkheimer and Josie Robinson won first place in their division and received Best Overall in Animal Sciences. Both will also advance to the state science fair.
Emma Fetterhoff earned first place in her division and was named Best Overall project at the fair with the top score in the senior division. She also received a $2,000 recurring scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University and several additional special awards.
Fetterhoff will advance to the state science fair in April and the International Science and Engineering Fair in May in Phoenix, where students from about 80 countries will compete.
