Chicken truck crash reported on Highway 60 in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, Mo. (KBSI) — Emergency crews responded Monday morning after a truck carrying chickens crashed along U.S. Highway 60 in Butler County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened near Butler County Road 409.
Authorities said the truck was hauling chickens, and several birds were seen in the median following the crash as crews worked to clear the area.
Photos and posts shared on social media showed chickens scattered near the highway while responders handled the cleanup.
Officials said the driver of the truck was not injured.
