Medic One announces tragic loss of EMT

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI(KBSI) -The Missouri EMS Funeral Response Team has announced the loss of one of their EMT’s.
The team released a statement on their Facebook page saying 24-year-old EMT Hallie Gillis, with Medic One ambulance service in Kennett Missouri was traveling home after her shift when she was involved in a vehicle crash. According to the statement Hallie leaves behind a 16-month-old son, parents, siblings, grandparents’ numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Medic One wrote in a Facebook post “Hallie was the embodiment of enthusiasm, care, and compassion. Her unwavering dedication to her work and her eagerness to learn more about the world of EMS inspired us all. Hallie had a genuine passion for helping others and always went above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of those she served.”
