Women’s health event focused on natural wellness set for March 28 in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill., (KBSI) — A day focused on natural approaches to women’s health is scheduled for March 28 at the Carbondale Civic Center.

The Women’s Health Naturally event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the civic center, located at 200 S. Illinois Ave. Organizers say the event will feature vendors, workshops and discussions centered on natural health and wellness.

More than 40 vendors are expected to participate, offering information on natural health care services, supplements and personal care products. The event will also include hourly giveaways and a catered organic lunch provided by Branch Cafe & Market.

Advance registration is available through March 27, with tickets priced at $50 for adults and $40 for seniors age 60 and older and students. Day-of registration will be $60 for adults and $50 for seniors and students.

The event will also feature four workshops and a question-and-answer panel with speakers.

Workshop topics include:

  • 9:30 a.m. — “Hormone Havoc: Decode the Chaos & Restore the Balance,” presented by Anita Brown of Radiant Functional Health and Midwest Medical Thermography.
  • 10:30 a.m. — “The Cycle Code: Understanding Your Period & Hormonal Health,” presented by Dr. Emma Sprague of Chi Rho Wellness.
  • 11:30 a.m. — “Balancing Hormones with Herbal Medicine,” presented by Carrie Chauhan, M.Ac., DipIOM.
  • 1:30 p.m. — “Hormonal Harmony through Sound Therapy,” presented by Pat York of True Nature Holistic Arts.

A Q&A panel with all speakers is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The event will conclude with a Functional Patterns Movement session led by Caleb Snyder and Cynthia Busch of Snyder Physique, designed to help participants integrate lessons from the day through guided movement.
